• Site Lap: The Final CountdownAugust 1, 2015The final round of the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship is all but a week away and it only feels like a few days since the race season got underway with the inaugural running of the Daytona ATVSX.
• Site Lap: A Decade at DillaJuly 17, 2015The NYCM Insurance Northeastern ATV National was without a doubt one of the best weekends so far this season. It was a little wet coming into Friday but with time and effort by the track crew plus a little bit of riding, the whole thing came around to be exceptional. As we celebrated 10 years of ATV Motocross racing at Unadilla, it was a far cry different than it was way back then. Since its first running there have been a number of changes in our sport and a handful of changes to Unadilla too.
• Site Lap: 'DillaJuly 10, 2015The Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship is beginning its wind down from one aspect with three rounds left to go. However it at the same time is really starting to heat up. To say things are about to get interesting may be an understatement. The year has already been plagued with bad weather and low turnouts due to forecasts but one has to hope and think that it may all turn around in the coming month.
• Site Lap: Independence DayJuly 2, 2015Happy Independence Day as we roll into this 4th of July weekend. No racing for me this weekend on the ATVMX or GNCC sides of things so the kids and I are taking a little time to relax for the first time in what seems like forever.
• Site Lap: Spring Creek ATVMXJune 25, 2015It's a busy weekend in the ATV Racin' Nation and Spring Creek MX a.k.a. Millville as the 7th round of 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship is kicking off at one of America's premier motocross facilities. The track is rising to the occasion and the weather is a promoters dream. The temperature is around 80 degrees with overcast skies, which translate into a perfect day of not only proactive but track prep.
• Site Lap: We're Halfway ThereJune 22, 2015Welcome to another late edition of Site Lap. All apologies once again as technology as great as it is does not always work, at least not for me. I was leaving in a hurry and sent the email, or at least thought I had and left for this past weekends Snowshoe GNCC only to find out it had not sent and I had left the computer at home that I had it saved on. Par for the course me it seems sometimes but the good news is that I had some more time to reflect and wonder ahead as to what is happening in the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship.
• Site Lap: Battle at Sunset RidgeJune 12, 2015The battles at Sunset Ridge are ready to wage, and the role that last seasons winner, Thomas Brown, has may put a whole new twist on the championship. Thomas has been searching and may have found the confidence to know he can do it. The win at the Ironman ATVMX coupled with the confidence of winning at Sunset last year gives Thomas a big upper hand. The big flip side is that Chad may want to make a statement and what better place than in his own backyard.
• Site Lap: The Midway PushJune 5, 2015The midway push of the 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship is on and another interesting turn of events occurred, as everyone knew and expected could happen. The first ever visit to the all new Ironman Raceway was without a doubt a huge success even with the ridiculous rains that let loose on Saturday afternoon not long after AMA Pro ATV Moto 1.
• Site Lap: Inaugural Ironman ATVMXMay 29, 2015The 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV National Motocross season has certainly seen a lot of firsts this season. The first ever Daytona ATVSX, our first visit ever to the notorious Underground MX Park in Kemp, Texas, The announcement of the Edge of Summer Motocross at Soaring Eagle Casino and this weekend’s first visit to the world famous Ironman Raceway.
• Site Lap: ATVMX LiveMay 15, 2015Another big week in the ATV Racin' Nation as the ATV Stampede from High Point Raceway gets underway. Practice day on Friday greeted racers with a near total overhaul. Randy Poulter has been busy redesigning the legendary facility for this year's AMA ATVMX and the AMA Motocross Nationals. Though the track is not completed and lap times are in the 1:30's and 1:40's it gives you an idea of what is to come and it is a great new twist to the hallowed grounds of this facility. At the moment it appears that more than half the track has been changed and redesigned.
• Site Lap: Three Rounds DownMay 11, 2015Three rounds down and looking straight ahead to round 4 of the world premier Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, the ATV Stampede at High Point Raceway. A historic facility and a track that has created some interesting twist to seasons past. What does it hold this year? That is the big question for many as we look at one of the most exciting championships in recent history developing. Well it be the greatest ever? That question remains to be answered...
