Site Lap: It's Almost Time to CelebrateNovember 13, 2015The 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship Awards Banquet is only a week away. This means that soon the season will officially be over and attention can be turned toward 2016. Before we go that far though I wanted to glance back before we move forward. There is plenty to reflect upon and honestly it will be hard to convey the true challenges faced along the way, but don’t think that each one doesn’t have a story. I will take a look at the Amateur classes this week and then onto the youth next week.
Site Lap: Off-Season in Full SwingNovember 6, 2015The 2015 racing season finally reached its true end this past weekend in Crawfordsville, IN. Though it is not apart of the ATV Motocross Nationals it does have some significance.
Site Lap: A Place Called HomeOctober 23, 2015This week’s Site Lap contribution comes to you from the somewhat unfamiliar surroundings of a place called home. It is actually a beautiful fall day and the colors are booming here in south eastern Ohio.
Site Lap: Mid-Week UpdateOctober 20, 2015The 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross Championship is now in the past but for another sector of the ATV racing world it is all coming to and end. This edition is actually late due in part to that but the bottom line is that history is being written and if you get a chance you should find your way to the Ironman GNCC October 31st. Walker Fowler looks to be heir to throne that six time champ Chris Borich has apparently left vacant after a sub parson season.
Site Lap: ATV Pro ChallengeOctober 9, 2015This week my contribution to Site Lap comes from the great sate of Texas where we are gearing up with the TQRA for the third annual ATV Pro Challenge in memory of Caleb Moore.
Site Lap: Fall Is In The AirOctober 3, 2015This week’s Site Lap comes to you from the windy mountaintop of the Car-Mate Trailers Mountain Ridge GNCC. It’s a cold and blustery weekend and fall is in the air. The fall colors are starting to shine through and makes the windy conditions a little more bearable. The ATV championship here is really starting to heat up and if you follow the GNCC news then you know that there was a major point swing two weeks ago when Walker Fowler gained the lead and a nine point advantage over Adam McGill.
Site Lap: All But A MemorySeptember 25, 2015The 2015 ATV Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship is all but a memory now. It almost seems like a dream reflecting back on the monumental things that took place this season.
Site Lap: Diverse NationSeptember 18, 2015The ATV Racin’ Nation is one of the most diverse group of individuals I may have ever met. Folks from all walks of life from all points of the world thrive on the lifestyle in which we live. For many, to be able to race the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship is nothing more than a dream.
Site Lap: Fall Racing Keeps GoingSeptember 11, 2015Another week closes and still yet though the season is officially over on the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship does not mean the racing season is over.
Site Lap: The End of SummerAugust 28, 2015The Edge of Summer Motocross Festival kicks off today, with the inaugural running of ATV racing. Only in it's second year, The Edge of Summer Motocross is quickly becoming a huge deal in the world of racing. Bolstering a $50,000 pro purse and top talents from across the land, one might say this is destined to be a rather large affair in the world of racing.
Site Lap: Beginning of The Off-SeasonAugust 21, 2015Another week into the off-season as it’s only been a couple of weeks since last we raced and already missing the feeling of getting ready for an epic weekend. The good news is though that the Edge of Summer Motocross is only a week away and a new era of ATVMX begins at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. Complete details were announced this week and information can be found at RedBudMX.com.
Site Lap: The End of the 2015 SeasonAugust 14, 2015It’s hard to believe that we have reached this point. The season is over and championships have been decided. Some were heartbroken while others were filled with joy. The ups and downs of it all came to a screeching halt, and now we are left with the memories of another amazing season. The good news is that there is still a couple of big ATV events that are a must to attend, which also gives a little something to look forward to.
