Site Lap: Heading to Muddy CreekApril 24, 2015The all-new Texas ATV National at Underground MX Park was without a doubt a full scale welcome back to the ATV Nation by both the TQRA and LSQR. These two Texas based organizations made a great experience even better. Other than a little rain in the overnight hours on Friday and a whole lot of rain overnight Saturday things were ultimately perfect. A tip of the hat to the "A Team" of Tim Ritchey, Bob Pistol and, of course, Randy Poulter for the well prepared and maintained course. Even with the rain that fell, the race could have not been more perfect.

The ATV Racin' Nation has been greeted with a great big Texas Howdy as practice rolled off the line this morning and the Inaugural lines of the first ever ATVMX National at Underground MX Park were carved. As they say, everything is bigger in Texas and I think ATVMX is no exception.

Dew ATV Motocross National Championship resuming in the heart of one of America’s Hot Beds of ATV racing talent, the great state of Texas, home of the Texas Quad Racing Association (a.k.a. TQRA). It will be the first time in the great state in nearly a decade when the tour made a stop in Decatur at Oak Hill.

Site Lap: The Opening RoundMarch 27, 2015The opening round of the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship lived up to all the hype it was meant to be. A homecoming for some while others were introduced to quite possibly the best racetrack on the circuit and everyone could feel the excitement in the air as the new season dawned. Even though moto 2 was canceled on Sunday due to weather we were still treated to the fascinating new crop of in the Pro Am class. All in all it was everything and more that it could have been and now the stage is starting to set for the run for the championship.

Site Lap: ATVMX Racing Begins This WeekendMarch 20, 2015As all the hoopla with the Inaugural Fly Racing ATVSX has begun to settle, and the focus begins to be on the opening round of the 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship this weekend at Echeconnee MX Park in Lizella, Georgia. The ATV Racin' Nation has filed in full force and practice is now underway as I scribe this weeks contribution. The last time we were at Echeconnee, Dustin Wimmer won the season opener and Joe Byrd was en-route to his second AMA Pro ATV Motocross Championship title. A lot has changed since then, but at the same time so much seems the same.

Site Lap: Fly Racing ATVSX at DaytonaMarch 13, 2015It is hard to think that only one week ago today the ATV Racin' Nation began it's pilgrimage into Daytona International Speedway. For the first time ever ATV racers and families made their way through the hallowed gates of racing history. To say that you did not feel it when you rolled out of the tunnel into the home of speed you must not be alive or you simply did not recognize what this meant to our sport.

The big rigs, racers and families begin the journey into history as they roll into the world famous Daytona International Speedway in preparation of Tuesdays monumental and first-ever Fly Racing AMA ATV Supercross championship. The feelings and emotions running through the ATV Racin' Nation has to be a feeling of something special. The hard work, dedication and never give up attitudes have helped bring this all to fruition.

Site Lap: Less Than One Month AwayFebruary 13, 2015In less than one month the first calls to the new racing season and the historic first-ever Fly Racing ATVSX will literally be in the history books. Then of course our focus will be on the soon to come opening round of the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship that is poised to hold its own place in the ATV Racin’ Nation History Book. So, with a little extra time on my hands these thoughts become race fuel for my imagination.
