• Site Lap: Gearing Up!January 25, 2013As the snow flies here in my base camp located in south easter Ohio I am left with dreams of finer things....well at least warmer temperatures if nothing else. Many have made the trek south to Florida, Texas, Alabama and various other warmer and milder winter weather areas and the 2013 season is all but underway.
• Site Lap:Signs of LifeJanuary 18, 2013Nine weeks and counting the way I look at the calendar until we roll into Aonia Pass Motocross in Washington Georgia for the opening round of the 2013 AMA ATV MX Nationals. Saying that now it seems so far away but in about eight weeks we will be asking ourselves, where did the time go? One answer may be, prepping, tuning and training for the 2013 season.
• Site Lap: The Waiting GameJanuary 12, 20132013 is in full swing and with the way the weather patterns have been here in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania makes one feel the season approaching even more. Though it is still several weeks away the urge to get it going is nearly overwhelming.

And as close to the situation as we may be, it may take some time to realize what the past 12 months has dealt in every aspect of our lives. There have been trials and tribulations. There have been commitments and sacrifices and there has been sadness and joy.

Many have stepped off the fast track for a few days and soon after the Holiday there will be lots of action on the highways headed south to Texas, Alabama, North Carolina and Florida to begin training for the 2013 season.

Amazingly though it seems most of do slow down for that one special day for a few hours before looking forward to what's to come and rolling south to begin their training for the winter.

As hard as it is to believe the 2013 season will be here and finally the schedule has been released.

There are a number of positive things that are being leaked and amazingly I have not heard much negative to this point. This is good and the general consensus seems to be, "Bring on the new season!"

(I guess with Halloween approaching that fits). The little tidbits that seem to come our way are truly that, little tidbits. Not much being said and everyone is waiting to make decisions and or let the cat out of the bag about what is coming up.
• Site Lap: What A Women Class!September 28, 2012The level of competition in ATV Motocross is elevating more and more each season. This past season was certainly no exception. The last few weeks we have broken down the class champions in each class. The reason for this is to give some props to some that may seem to get overlooked in the grand scheme of things. And it gives us an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the ATVMX Top Guns before we head to the banquet in November. The youth and amateur are of course our core in the ATV Racin' Nation and it is nice to take a look at the future crop of talent working its way through the ranks.
