• Site Lap: The Big FinishAugust 17, 2013Welcome back to Site Lap which has been non existent the last few weeks. Partly due to some technical difficulties in my world, the new site I had no idea how to access and largely in part to the fact that Loretta Lynn's two wheel and four wheeled nationals. It is to say the least very nice to be home for a few days before things kick back into high speed with the wrap up of the Amsoil GNCC series.
• Site Lap: Duck's Dynasty At RiskJuly 12, 2013Overcast skies and somewhat comfortable conditions greeted the ATV Motocross Racin' Nation at the world famous Unadilla Valley Sports Center for Round 8 of the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship. Deemed the Can Am Northeast ATV National, riders are flocking from all over the nation and especially this weekend the northeast.
• Site Lap: Heating Up In Steel CityJuly 5, 2013A mix of clouds and sunshine greeted the ATV Racin' Nation this morning as the 2013 ATV Stampede at Steel City got underway with its Friday practice sessions. The track could not be any more perfect and with things looking so great so far on Friday we are all in hopes that we have a chance to celebrate not only our nations independence but also a rain-free weekend for possibly the first time this season for the Mtn. Dew AMA ATV Motocross National Championship.
• Site Lap: More Updates from the NationJune 28, 2013Only a week left in the break in the action of the 2013 Mtn. Dew AMA ATV National Motocross Championship and as good as it is, many are ready to get back to business and sort out what they can for this challenging championship season. The hopes of better weather and consistent motos are on the minds of many while others are hoping to seal the deal in the next few rounds.
• Site Lap: Racin' Nation UpdatesJune 21, 2013The 2013 Mtn. Dew AMA ATV National Motocross Championship has presented the ATV Racin' Nation with about as many challenges as any one season can present. Especially on the weather front. Well it may all actually stem from the weather. Even though we have had some minimal dry conditions it seems we have been faced with rain at some point during the weekend. Actually on an occasion or two it has made some on the better track conditions but it seems like such a small light at the end of the tunnel.
• Site Lap: Tension BuildingJune 14, 2013The 2013 Mtn. Dew AMA ATV National Motocross Championship has made the turn and it is now full steam ahead essentially to the final rounds of the season. It appears as though championships are beginning to shape up but still with already so many obstacles for all teams presented by the weather, tension could be building to a fever pitch and all races are going to matter from this point on.

Dew AMA ATV Motocross National Championship is now in the history books and there may still be as many questions as there ever were before the season started. The series is still within reach of so many different riders in every class and it seems each week brings something exciting and new.
• Site Lap: Heating Up At SunsetMay 24, 2013The Mtn. Dew AMA ATV National Motocross Championship rolls into Sunset Ridge this weekend with a head full of steam and possibly more surprises on the way. Defending Champ Chad Wienen has kept it steady all season and this weekend may be a little easier…one would think.
• Site Lap:Wacky WildcatMay 17, 2013The weather was rather cool but the rains came early enough that it did not seem to affect the racing surface. Actually it came with a little pre planning of Tim Ritchie and the Red Bud staff. They saw the rain on the way and rented extra equipment to roll and pack the track in to shield as much as they could and Friday morning yielded a rather perfect racetrack for the start of the weekend. The combination of forethought, hard work and Mother Nature made for ideal track conditions and some of the seasons best racing.
• Site Lap: Wild Times ComingMay 10, 2013The inaugural running of the Wildcat Creek MX Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross Nationals rolls into Rossville, Indiana this weekend. The field is stacked from the 50cc classes all the way to the pro class. The weather greeted the riders with a little rain Thursday evening making the track conditions not the most favorable for the start of practice. However with a little wind and a few rounds of practice the track is shaping up quite nicely.

• Site Lap: Historical ProportionsMay 3, 2013The 2013 Maxxis Tires Bluegrass ATV Motocross Nationals this past weekend at Ballance Moto-X in Oakland, Kentucky proved to be a race of epic proportions as expected. While riders and families rolled into the beautiful South Central Kentucky farm country and settled into a weekend of racing, so did the rain. Local weather warnings read that nearly 2 inches of rain fell over the course of the weekend.
