It seems a little early to pull the trigger and postpone such an event, but the one thing you have to remember is that these are the same people that make you wait till the last possible second to do such a thing under normal circumstances. So for them to call the event so early in the week there must be a doggone good reason.

The Easter weekend brought beautiful weather and near perfect track conditions that translated into our first full weekend of racing. The weekend also introduced some eye opening moments that helped set the stage further for a season of what is likely to be some of the greatest national championships. The season has only begun and already the drama builds to epic proportions.

And even though the rains fell Sunday morning the real “Texas Flood” came in on Saturday in the form of highly competitive racing from nearly every class on the schedule. If this one race is a gauge of what to expect then this season may be even better than it previously hyped to be.
