It is with great sadness that the ATVPG reports the passing of amateur ATVMX racer Kyler Lenz of Deforest, Wisconsin. Kyler was involved in a racing incident this past Saturday, July 1, during his Schoolboy Sr. race at the Spring Creek National in Millville, Minnesota. Kyler was 14 years old.
“We often refer to ATVMX as a big racing family,” said Series Director Tim Cotter. “This weekend we lost a member of that family with the passing of Kyler Lenz, and we are broken hearted with the news of this tragedy. We ask that you keep Kyler, his family and friends in your prayers during this difficult time. The entire ATVMX community sends its most sincere condolences to the family of Kyler Lenz.”
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, July 9, at 1 p.m. at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home in Tomah, Wisconsin. A memorial service will follow the visitation on Sunday at 2 p.m. Donations for Kyler’s family can be made HERE.
