Dew ATV Motocross National Championship Series, sanctioned by AMA, winds down, the circuit heads to the legendary RedBud MX in Buchanan, Mich. this weekend, July 27 and 28, for Round 9 of the 10-race series. This Saturday, the nation’s top pros will go to battle for the overall win in the Pro Class, but points leader Chad Wienen has his sights set on capturing a second consecutive championship at the penultimate round of racing.

Even with spring weather rolling in, defending champion Chad Wienen not only took the overall with a 1-3 finish but extended his points lead at Round 3 of the 10-race series this weekend. Last year's Maxxis Bluegrass National winner John Natalie took second overall and Thomas Brown claimed his third podium in third.

Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA, once again proved to be a season full of action as the AMSOIL Spring National headed to Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tenn. for Round 2 of the 10-race series. Youngster Joel Hetrick swept both motos of the weekend, closing the gap to only one point behind series points leader Chad Wienen.
