Can-Am End Season SuccessfullyAugust 21, 2013Can-Am DS 450 ATV racers went 1-2 in the Pro-Am class at the 2013 AMA Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship series finals in Tennessee. In the ATV Pro class, BCS Performance / Can-Am racer Josh Creamer finished fourth overall to secure the third place Pro class points position for 2013. Can-Am X-Team member Nick Gennusa won the Open A class national championship. Can-Am ATV and side-by-side racers also competed at round seven of the 2013 World Off-Road Championship Series in Southern California.

Partly due to some technical difficulties in my world, the new site I had no idea how to access and largely in part to the fact that Loretta Lynn's two wheel and four wheeled nationals. It is to say the least very nice to be home for a few days before things kick back into high speed with the wrap up of the Amsoil GNCC series.

At all but one race this year it’s rained at some point during the weekend and most of the time it’s during the races. Combine that with some bad luck and misfortune and you’ve got a recipe for a long year.

WM's Brown Wins the OverallAugust 13, 2013This past weekend Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. hosted the final round of racing for the 2013 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA. And to no surprise the Wienen Motorsports team took to the podium at the end of the weekend as Thomas Brown grabbed his first career overall win and Chad Wienen went 2-2 for second overall. With Brown’s overall, the team also wrapped up second overall in the championship points standings along with Wienen’s 2013 National Championship.

First Pro Win for Brown at FinaleAugust 13, 2013Maxxis came out on top at the year’s final round of the ATV Motocross National Championship Series, with a first-ever Pro victory for Thomas Brown and a second-place finish for Chad Wienen, who had already wrapped up the championship title in July. Round 10 was held August 10 in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA, didn’t have some rain fall for the final round of racing at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. With the most mud races the series has had in a single season, Mother Nature has played more than her part in the 10-round race series. But as clear skies came through in the afternoon, Saturday’s track shaped up to give spectators some great racing.

Can-Am Maverick™ 1000R side-by-side pilots posted wins in several different racing series and disciplines, including Stadium TT, motocross and cross-country formats. ATV racers also posted victories in both cross-country and motocross.
Vechery Racing's Hamrick Took Podium Finish at RedBudAugust 6, 2013Vechery Racing returned to action at round nine of the AMA Mountain Dew ATV Motocross National Championship at the historic Red Bud MX facility by winning the first moto of the highly contested Pro-Am class and rounding out the day on the final step of the podium.

Loretta Lynn's Hosts Final Round of Racing this WeekendAugust 6, 2013Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch has been home to motocross for over thirty years and once again the notorious track will host the final round of the 2013 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship Series, sanctioned by AMA, on August 10 and 11 in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Although the 2013 Pro Class National Championship has been wrapped up by Chad Wienen, the nation’s fastest riders on four-wheels will be holding nothing back to take the last win of the season and carry the momentum into the offseason.
