Removal of ImPACT Concussion Management Test Requirement for ATV Professional Licensed Riders

Effective immediately, AMA Pro Racing licensed ATV participants will no longer be required to complete the ImPACT Concussion Management Test as a condition for license eligibility. The testing requirement was removed due to the inability of the Series to conduct onsite baseline test evaluations at the events.

The ImPACT Concussion Management Test provides a baseline to serve as a diagnostic tool for use by medical professionals in diagnosing, treating and determining recovery status for any athlete who may have experienced head trauma or similar concussion-like incidents. While the ImPACT Concussion Management Test is no longer mandatory for professional license approval, it is strongly recommended that all athletes complete an ImPACT Concussion Management Test for their personal use.

Baseline tests are good for a period of two years and can be administered using a home computer. Visit https://baselinetesting.com for testing details and more information regarding ImPACT Concussion Management Test.

Professional Licensed ATV Riders having questions regarding the ImPACT Concussion Management Test may contact Dr. Paul Reiman at [email protected].
