Wienen and Hetrick Aim To Go Head-to-Head on Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (July 2, 2021) – This Saturday, July 3, the 2021 ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) Series, an AMA National Championship, heads to Pennsylvania for the Pleasure Valley Raceway (PVR) National event. With just five points separating the top-two riders, they will look to go head-to-head on Saturday afternoon with two pro motos slated to take place.

After earning the win in his home state of Illinois at the previous round, Wienen Motorsports/Maxxis/SSi Decals/Fly Racing/Yamaha’s Chad Wienen is aiming to battle at the front and earn his third win of the season. However, Wienen will have to battle a handful of other riders hungry to put a stop to his winning ways.

Phoenix Racing/CST Tires/Elka/Walsh Race Craft/Moose Racing’s Joel Hetrick, a Pennsylvania native, is eager to get back to his home state and take on the competition in front of his friends and family. Hetrick will look to battle for what could be his fourth win of the season.

Another rider aiming to battle at the front of the pack once again would be JH Racing/FTR Graphics/Fly Racing/Walsh Race Craft’s Westley Wolfe. With two overall podium finishes on the season, Wolfe is looking to continue battling at the front and showing the ATVMX series all that he is capable of. Wolfe will definitely be another one to keep an eye on as he inches his way closer to a win.

GennUSA Racing/Integrated Financial Concepts/CST Tires/Walsh Race Craft’s Nicholas Gennusa is looking to get back on the podium this weekend at PVR. After some bad luck in different motos at the past couple of rounds, Gennusa is aiming to earn some valuable points in the championship standings.

As he rounded out the top five at the last round of ATVMX, Phoenix Racing’s Jeffrey Rastrelli will be aiming to grab another couple of positions and put his machine up on the box this weekend in Pennsylvania. ML2 Motorsports/Walsh Race Craft/Maxxis/Yamaha’s Max Lindquist is also hoping to click off a couple more positions this weekend as he battles to return to the top five overall.

The TDR Motorsports/OnTheBox Performance/Pafford EMS/Decker Training Facility-backed rider Brandon Hoag is hoping to have a replay of his last race in Pennsylvania where he earned third overall at High Point. Hoag has the determination coming into this weekend to put his head down and battle throughout the day in both motos for what could be his second podium of the season. Stanfield Motorsports/Nine6Nine/Corrosion Specialties/TDR/Maxxis’ Logan Stanfield will aim to break into the top five finishing positions after a couple of consecutive eighth place finishes.

Ford Brothers Racing/Fly/SSi/Maxxis/DWT/Maxima/Fourwerx/Walsh Race Craft’s Bryce and Cody Ford will both look to better their finishing positions this weekend. After finishing ninth and 10th overall at the last round, both brothers are eager to get back to the track and improve their overall standings in the championship points.
