Chad Wienen | 2016 Yamaha Wall of Champions Inductee

Chad Wienen simply owns the sport of ATV Motocross. In 2016, he notched his fifth-straight AMA Pro ATV MX Championship, showing a level of consistency nearly unheard of in racing.

And, through the 2016 season, Chad proved he could thrive even during times of adversity. He started the season with a historic win at the Daytona ATV Supercross, and held the points lead throughout the year. But it wasn’t easy. At round six, he battled his championship rival Joel Hetrick so hard that the two collided, and Wienen ended up upside-down and on the ground. Miraculously, he fought his way back to the podium and scored a clutch last-lap pass to salvage second. At Loretta Lynn’s, he got into a first-lap tangle up and found himself in last place—only to charge all the way back to second again! It’s that never-give-up spirit that keeps the Championship run rolling for him year after year. #YamahaWOC
