Janssen Ready for Big Performance at Nearby Spring Creek

For Cody Janssen, reigning ATV Derby Pro World Champion, this is the home field advantage stretch of the ATV Motocross schedule. With three close races in a four race span (Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan), this is where the Wisconsin native looks to flex his muscles and turn his injury-riddled season around. Coming off a solid performance in the first leg of this home stand at Sunset Ridge that saw Janssen have a very strong Pro Class 2nd moto and a Pro Am overall finish right outside the top 5, Cody looks to really shine in Minnesota.
“This season has been a constant struggle with my injuries and everything that comes along with that, but that being said I think we’re going to get it done at Millville!” Janssen said with a grin. “I’ve been working so hard, it has to show. Day after day I’ve been staying the course and with so many great people behind me, it’s time for a big performance. [Spring Creek] is a man’s track…. Big, strong guys do well there and that’s how I see myself. I’m looking forward to the battle, and I think you’re going to see the #25 up on the podium on Sunday.”
For Cody, his somewhat disappointing results in 2016 haven’t been for lack of effort. The 2014 AMA ATV Pro Rookie of the Year continues to put in the necessary work it takes to succeed. Few individuals work the way he does, few focus in the manner he does, few are as disciplined as this young man. I think you’re going to see him ride well this weekend and I think you’re going to see him battle for a podium finish on Sunday in the Pro Am class. To all that continue to support him, he is forever grateful, the continuous striving for greatness is for you.
Cody’s run at podiums and race wins wouldn’t be possible without the great care and support of the people that continue to back him. He must thank his parents/family and the rest of the Janssen Motorsports crew; thank you to the Londerville family and Londerville Steel for stepping up for Cody when he needed it most. Thank you to Elka Suspension for their support of the #25, phenomenal products and people. Also, thanks to Jay at Impact Solutions, Maxxis Tires, SSI Decals, Walsh Racecraft, Valvoline, Koster Racing, FMF, Pivot Works, Hinson Clutch Components, DP Brakes, Thor MX, 100%, E-Z UP, Cliff Cox and Oshkosh Tattoo and Good Girl Piercing, Risk Racing, Napa of Peru, Indiana; Pafford EMS, FourWerx Carbon, Sconnie Nation, 1st Endurance, Piping Service INC., DT-1 Filters, Sunstar Sprockets, D.I.D Chains, Galfer USA, Rath Racing, Renthal, Works Connection, 4Arm Strong, Don Straus, Pro-Tec, PHC Coatings, Jeremy Edwards at Edwards Auctioneering, Corey Garrison at Parts Unlimited, Evans Coolant, Terry Moore, Kay Gunn PT, Evans Coolant, Frank Vallone and family, his phenomenal mechanics (Joel Janssen, Todd Blom, Haley Davis and Dan Binder), Ken Hill always for the photos, and everyone else that supports him. The Janssen team is like a set of gears, Joel and Lisa Janssen along with Haley Davis (girlfriend) make Cody and his racing successful, it wouldn’t be possible without each and every one of them. Cody Janssen and the #25 are primed and ready for a huge performance at Spring Creek Motocross Park in Millville, Minnesota, see you there! God bless.
