ATV Motocross (ATVMX) mourns the loss of former ATVMX professional racer Dalton Millican, age 22, who passed away Wednesday night, August 12, when he was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident.

Dalton was a native of Drummonds, Tennessee where he quickly worked his way up the ranks in ATV racing. In 2011 he claimed his first ATVMX title in the 450 A class, then graduated to race Pro Am Unlimited and Production before ultimately moving up to the professional division in 2013. He traded in his ATV for a monster truck in the Monster Jam Series, and became the popular “Blue Thunder” driver.

Dalton was laid to rest yesterday in Munford, Tennessee. He is survived by his parents Clay and Donna Millican and brother, Cale Millican. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Racers for Christ or Paws & Claws with Tipton County Animal Shelter.

Godspeed, Dalton.
