Coming off a 10th Place overall at the first ever Daytona ATV Supercross in the AMA Pro Class Eleven18 Powersports' Tyler Hamrick had his sights set on another top ten finish at Rd. 1 which kicked off the ATVMX season opener at Echeconnee MX Park in Lizella, Ga. Practice didn't go Hamrick's way as he qualified 18th fastest giving him last gate pick for moto 1. With that Tyler came out 14th after lap 1 and moved his way up to tenth place by the end of the race. It was the same story for moto 2 coming from 14th to eleventh giving him a 10-11 score and another 10th overall finish. As the points sit right now Tyler is in 10th place only 5 points behind a three-way tie for 7th place.

Sunday at Echeconnee, rain cancelled all amateur races except the Pro Am class. Hamrick came out about mid pack and fought threw the mud with a 6th place finish aboard his practice bike.

Tyler said, " This weekend was a huge effort. Mike and everyone from Eleven18 made me there top priority this week and they came threw big. Building a Pro Class ATV is not an easy task and they did it in 5 short days. Now that my race bike is complete and we have a short break before Texas our main goal is to get as much seat time in as possible and continue to make great improvements each time I throw a leg over the bike."

That being said Tyler also stated "none of this would be possible without the help from my family, friends, and sponsors. I really appreciate what everyone is doing to keep me going at the sport I love to do so much!"
