Tyler Hamrick takes Moto Win and Podium Finish for Vechery Racing at Red Bud MX

Vechery Racing returned to action at round nine of the AMA Mountain Dew ATV Motocross National Championship at the historic Red Bud MX facility by winning the first moto of the highly contested Pro-Am class and rounding out the day on the final step of the podium.

As the gate dropped for the first moto Hamrick would find himself mid pack after the start but by the end of the first lap Tyler would take the green flag in second place pressuring this year’s Pro-Am Champion Brett Musick for the next few laps. After setting a blistering Hamrick would over take Musick for first and stay there till the end of the nine lap sprint. “The track is so much faster today than it was yesterday for the Pro Race. I can’t wait for the second moto.” said Hamrick.

With one of the most intense races in Pro-Am of the year Hamrick would once again find himself working his way up through the pack as the leaders battled back and forth for the entire 15 minute moto. One by one Hamrick worked his way up to third, knowing he needed to get into second for the overall. A small mistake coming out of the Pro section allowed fourth place to get by Hamrick. Tyler would hold his position for the last quarter of the lap, cross the finish line in fourth and take the final spot on the podium for the day.

Vechery Racing will be in attendance at the final round of the series at Loretta Lynn’s on August 10^th with the hopes of finishing out the year in the top three in the year end standings for Pro-Am.
