ATVMX National Championship Heads to Echeconnee MX for Round 2 of AMA Pro Class and Season Opener for Amateur Divisions
LIZELLA, GA (March 26, 2026) — The 2026 ATVMX National Championship (ATVMX) Series, an AMA National Championship, continues this weekend as riders and teams converge on Echeconnee MX in Lizella, Georgia, for a pivotal early-season showdown. The event marks Round 2 of racing for the AMA Pro class and the highly anticipated opening round for Amateur, WMX, Pro Sport, and Pro-Am competitors.
Following an exciting season opener, the AMA Pro class returns to the gate with momentum building and championship implications already taking shape. Riders will look to establish consistency and gain an early advantage in the title chase as the series visits one of the Southeast’s most challenging and fan-favorite venues.
All eyes will once again be on a stacked front pack as Joel Hetrick, Zack Decker, Max Lindquist, Mason Jackson, and Joey Norris prepare to battle it out at Echeconnee MX this weekend. Hetrick, a perennial title contender, brings his trademark speed and consistency into Round 2, while Decker continues to prove he has the pace to run up front with the best in the class.
