Hetrick Takes Overall Win in Indiana

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (May 21, 2025) – The ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) Series, an AMA National Championship, hosted its fifth round of AMA Pro ATV Racing at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana on Saturday, May 10.

Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Joel Hetrick would continue his dominance in the series as he went 1-1 on the day virtually untouched as he earned his fifth-straight win of the season. Almost just like last the last round, Hetrick would have to work his way up from a fifth place start in moto one to take over the lead. Then in moto two, Hetrick would get the early lead and hold onto that position until the checkered flag came out.

Earning second overall on the day was Ford Brothers Racing/FXR/SSi Decals/CST’s Bryce Ford as he went 2-2 in the motos. Ford would lead the opening lap in moto one and then hold onto the second place position through the rest of that moto, while in moto two he would have a consistent race as he battled throughout that race in second place.

Coming through to take third overall in Indiana was Westland Motorsports/JH Racing/Goldspeed Tires/PEP/Musick Racing’s Brandon Hoag. During moto one, Hoag would battle at the front with Ford, ultimately crossing the line third. Then Hoag would have to work his way up from a sixth place start in the second moto to finish third once again.

Rastrelli Racing/FXR Moto/Rocket Machine Design’s Jeffrey Rastrelli would go 4-7 on the day to earn fourth overall at Ironman Raceway. In moto one, Ratrelli had a good start and would battle towards the front where he crossed the line fourth. However, in moto two he would not have the greatest start and would be unable to make his way towards the front to battle. Rastrelli would cross the line seventh in moto two.

Rounding out the top five overall finishers at Ironman was ML2 Motorsports/Walsh Race Craft/Maxxis/Yamaha’s Max Lindquist. Lindquist would finish 8-4 on the day to finish in that fifth place start. Wienen Motorsports/Maxxis/SSi Decals/Fly Racing/Yamaha’s Chad Wienen would go 5-6 to finish sixth overall on the day.

It would be TDR Motorsports/Walsh Race Craft/CST/Rocket Machine Design’s Mason Jackson going 7-5 to finish seventh overall, while JH Racing/Pep Performance/Shiffer Powersports’ Westley Wolfe went 6-8 on the day to finish eighth overall in Indiana.

GennUSA Racing/SSi Decals/Kenda/Action Off-Road’s Nicholas Gennusa came through to go 10-10 for ninth overall, and DW Performance/Baldwin Motors/Pro Graphx’s Joey Norris rounded out the top 10 overall finishers by going 13-9 in the motos.

In the Pro-Am race it would be Joey Norris taking the overall win after going 1-1 on the day, while Cody Houghton would go 3-2 for second overall and Damien Hubert would round out the top three finishers with a 2-3 moto score.

Cody Houghton took home the Pro Sport win as he went 1-1 on Saturday, while Cale Deal went 1-2 to finish second overall and Damien Hubert finishing 2-3 to round out the top three overall finishers in the Pro Sport class.

In the WMX race on Saturday, it was Kinsey Osborn taking the win as she would go 1-1 on the day. Emma Wray would finish second overall with a 2-2 moto score, and Taygun Bratcher finished third overall as she came through with 5-3 moto finishes.
