1-1 For Wienen in Pennsylvania

A perfect weekend finishing 1-1 earning first overall for Wienen Motorsports’ Chad Wienen at Pleasure Valley Raceway in Seaward, Pennsylvania.

Wienen shot out of the first turn at the front of the field in both moto 1 and moto 2. In moto 1, Wienen immediately had pressure from behind and despite holding the first position by less than one second the entire 18 minutes plus two laps, Wienen was able to maintain the top spot and the first moto win when the checkers flew.

In moto 2, Wienen once again captured the holeshot. Wienen put his head down early and put in some strong fast laps to create a gap between himself and the rest of the field. At one point holding an 11 second gap on second place. Wienen then found a comfortable pace and continued on to grab the final checkers of the day.

“I’m pumped to leave Pleasure Valley with a 1-1 finish and both holeshots. This style of track is known to suit other rider’s style more than mine so being able to come here and grab a win for two years in a row really holds an excitement factor for myself and the spectators alike. With two more races in the 2022 season I am sitting in second in the championship points but I’m just going to continue to push forward and finish out the season strong,” said Wienen.

The next round of racing heads to Red Bud MX on July 30.
