Phoenix Racing Honda/Maxxis/Elka Suspension’s Joel Hetrick comes into this weekend’s race after earning the overall win at the past two rounds. Hetrick currently sits one point behind Wienen, which has to be a flash back to last year. However, this year’s ATV Dirt Day’s will not be the Championship determining round as the final round for the AMA ATV Pro Racers will be held in conjunction with the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship event at Ironman Raceway on Friday, August 23rd. Hetrick will aim to continue his success by earning two moto wins to take home another overall win.

One rider hoping to come back out on top this weekend will be Wienen Motorsports/Yamaha/Maxxis’ Chad Wienen. At the previous round Wienen finish sixth overall after suffering a mechanical issue in the second moto. As the series heads to Tennessee Wienen is aiming to earn valuable championship points and head into the final round ahead of his competitors.

Brown is eager to earn his second overall win before the season is over. As the series winds down, Brown currently sits third in the points standings.

GennUSA Racing/CST Tires/Corrosion Specialties’ Nick Gennusa earned his first AMA Pro ATV overall podium finish at the previous round. Gennusa has been working hard throughout the season, and has continued to push for that podium finish. Gennusa went 4-4 on the day to earn the podium finish, but this weekend Gennusa is looking to move up through the pack and battle for another overall podium finish.

Earning fourth overall at the previous round was Ryland Johnson Racing/GBC Motorsports/Ye Olde Cycle Barn’s Westley Wolfe. This Saturday, Wolfe will aim to once again return to the front and battle for what could be his first overall podium finish in the AMA Pro ranks. Nine6Nine/Barker’s Exhaust/Walsh Race Craft’s Alan Myers came through to round out the top five overall finishers after going 7-6 on the day.
