Dalton Millican ATV Motocross
Dalton MillicanDalton Millican is four races into his first year racing as a AMA Pro ATV rider. While this move up has not been easy it is fulfilling a dream he has always had. Millican has always wanted to races against the biggest names in the sport. Now he is doing that.Mother Nature has played a big part of the ATV National Motocross season so far raining during two of the four races this season. Millican has not had the success so far he was hoping for but it is getting better. Missing the cut at two of the four races has been tough but Millican had his best moto finish this past weekend in moto two at Wildcat Creek Raceway in Rossville Indiana. Millican is starting to see things come together.“This really has been tough moving up to the Pro class but it was something I really wanted to do. The pace these guys run is incredible. My training has been good but it has been raining so much my ability to ride on the off weeks has just not been there. The tracks at home just cant let us ride when it’s raining. This has made it hard for us to really work on some of the things I need to work on. I have been so thankful for all the people who have given me this opportunity even when the results aren’t there we are all looking for. I am just going to keep pushing myself and continue to get faster” Millican said.Millican also expressed his gratitude to those individuals and companies that are supporting him in his racing, “I feel so fortunate and grateful to several people that are participating in our program, Kenny Koretsky and NitroFish, Parts Plus, Jeff Maxey of Maximum Cycle, Jeff at Cernics, Mike and Nate Walsh of Walsh Race Craft, Jason and Logan of Munford Tire, Glenn Merchant at Hiper Racing Wheels, Dan at Dasa Racing, Wayne Hinson at Hinson Racing, Jen Rath of Rath Racing, Ian Harris at SSI Decals, Jason Rueckert of VP Racing Fuels, K&N Filters, Dan Fisher of Lonestar Racing, Chris Harris of Fly Racing, Gary Meier of JE Pistons, Laurie Dunlap at WebCams, Larry Mills at DP Brakes, Colleen Asch at Asterisk, Kyle Sugiyama at KG Power Sports, Bill at Quad Tech and Ryan at Works Connection.
