Top ATV Riders Confirm Attendance at Saturday's ATVA Banquet

Weekend features top riders, awards, and family fun

 

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Oct. 30, 2008) -- With nearly 500 attendees expected, AMA Pro ATV Champion Dustin Wimmer, as well as other top Pro and Amateur ATV riders, including Doug Gust, Josh Creamer, Harold Goodman, Thomas Brown, Cody Gibson, Heather Byrd and many others have confirmed they're attending the ATVA National Motocross Awards Banquet this Saturday at the Grand Resort and Convention Center. Along with honoring the top ten in points and honoring special award winners during Saturday's ceremonies, several events are also scheduled for attendees to enjoy.

 

On Friday, a trip to Dollywood is scheduled for children and their families, followed by trick or treating in the hotel from 7-9 p.m. During Saturday's banquet, special awards will also be given out, including Amateur Rider of the Year as voted on by his or her fellow competitors. The top ten in all 34 classes will also be honored on stage.

 

"We're looking forward to putting a fitting close to one of our most competitive ATV racing seasons on record," said Sam Gammon, ATVPG director. "With several new special awards, as well as special events, this should be a very exciting weekend."

 

The banquet will also feature Versus ATVMX video clips, photo gallery, 50/50 drawing boards, door prizes, and more. Games, music and other events will take place immediately following the Awards Dinner.
