WIENEN WINS TI LUBE FAST QUALIFIER AWARD

 

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (April 13, 2008) -- Chad Wienen won the Ti Lube Fast Qualifier Award Sunday at Ballance Moto X. Wienen (No. 44 Team Rockstar/MSR/Suzuki/Yoshimura/Pro Taper) will receive the top gate pick for today's Bluegrass ATV National, Round 3 of the ITP Tires/Moose Racing AMA/ATVA Pro ATV Championship Series presented by Parts Unlimited.

 

Wienen bested his top time by nearly two tenths, recorded in yesterday's qualifying session, turning the track in a time of 1:48.663. John Natalie (No. 13 Can-Am) waited until late in the session, and set a 1:49.396 time on his seventh lap. Dustin Wimmer (No. 191 Team MSR/Suzuki/Yoshimura/Pro Taper) was third fastest, nine tenths of a second behind Wienen.

 

The Bluegrass ATV National concludes today with Pro Motos scheduled for noon and 3 p.m. Today also features a full card of Amateur, Youth and Women's racing.
