How many classes can I register for?
Two, but first check the published Race Order. Once published, the order is pretty well set. We publish it in advance so you can decide what classes to register for to avoid back-to-back motos.
Are the classes points paying?
Yes, new for 2017 each class will offer points toward the 10-round ATVMX championship. Due to time constraints, the Daytona ATVSX will only feature a limited number of national classes, but all of them will be national points paying.
How many riders can register for a class?
Classes will be capped at either 14 or 28. Keep in mind there is only so much time in the day and not every class will be able to have 2 gates. We will decide which classes will be capped at 14/28 based on demand.
The class I want to race in is full. Can I register "out of class" just to get some track time?
NO! We realize there is a great demand to race at this prestigious event, but safety is our first priority. Please try and register for your appropriate skill level class as soon as possible. Classes run a high risk of selling out.
Will I be able to register for the class at the event?
You can register at the event only if there are positions available. Please be sure to check online registration to see if your class is full before making the trip
Will I need medical insurance in order to participate?
YES. We do not provide rider medical insurance, and due to the requirements of the Speedway, we cannot accept any riders who do not have their own medical insurance coverage.
I don't have medical insurance, but I want to race. What do I do?
Good news! The AMA now has a Rider Accident Medical Insurance Plan available to all AMA members. The coverage is very affordable and there are three options available. Benefits are paid when a covered member is injured. Visit the AMA website for details, or call 1(800)AMA-JOIN.

I registered online now what?
Fantastic! We can’t wait to see you at the world’s most famous race track. Print out the receipt and take it with you to check-in at the Speedway.
I never received an email confirmation after I registered online. What should I do?
Check again. Everyone is issued an email receipt confirming their entry. If you don’t see one, check your spam box. If you still don’t see one, call or email our office.
Arrival
How do I get into the Speedway?
If you are coming from I-95, turn right onto Williamson Blvd, then left into Gate 40. Stop at the gate and ask the attendant directions to the Back Stretch Ticket Booth (our Will Call) to pick up your credentials. You must have your credentials and camping pass in order to enter the Speedway.

When can I get into the Speedway?
You must obtain your credentials at the Back Stretch Ticket Booth (Will Call) before entering the Speedway. Will Call hours will be:

I will be arriving at the Speedway Friday evening after 7pm. Will I be able to get in?
No - Not until Saturday morning. But once you obtain your credentials, you will be able to come and go 24/7 through Gate 40.

When do I need to leave?
ATV riders and fans must be cleared from the Blue Garage by 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
Credentials
Where do I pick up passes/credentials?
Our Will Call will be stationed at the Back Stretch Ticket Booth, located through Gate 50. You and your guests must stop and get your credentials there in order to enter the Speedway. You can get your admission passes, pro pit passes, camping passes at Will Call. Once inside the Speedway, riders must report to Registration at the Boardwalk Club Building and check-in for their class(es).
I purchased passes for my family. Do they need to be present to pick them up?
No. You can leave passes for your guests at Will Call or you can take them with you to give to your guests if you are going to see them later on outside the Speedway. These will be Exchange Passes, and your guests will need to bring them to Will Call when they arrive to exchange them for credentials and sign the Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement. This is a legal document and is required to be signed by everyone.
I purchased passes for my family, but they are not coming until Tuesday morning. Where do they need to go to exchange their pass?
They need to go to our Will Call at the Back Stretch Ticket Booth through Gate 50. Passes can be exchanged Tuesday morning starting at 6:30 am. Please see the hours of operation above.
Pro Supercross Tickets
Where does my Pro SX ticket get me?
If you have a Pro SX ticket AND an Amateur SX armband, you can sit in the Pit Grandstands at Gate 134 located on the east side of Victory Lane (directly behind the UNOH Fan Zone), as well as have pit access up until 5:30 pm. After 5:30 pm the Pro Pits go “Hot” and you must leave the pits.
If you only have a Pro SX ticket, you can sit in the GA Grandstands located on the Tower side of the racetrack, as well as have pit access up until 5:30 pm. After 5:30 pm the Pro Pits go “Hot” and you must leave the pits. If you do not have an Amateur SX armband, you are restricted to the general admission grandstands.
The grandstands located on the west side of Victory Lane (directly behind the Pro Paddock) are reserved for Pro Industry riders and guests, and you are not permitted to access these grandstands.
I did not buy tickets in advance for my family for the Pro SX and now I need some. How can I make sure they get the same ticket as mine?
Unfortunately, we cannot sell Pro-only Supercross passes. Guests wanting to attend Saturday's Pro Supercross must purchase tickets directly from DIS at the UNOH Fan Zone Box Office.
How can I sit on the Tri-Oval of the road race course of Pro SX?
You need a special ticket to sit on the road race course, which you can buy from the Ticket Office located at the entrance to the UNOH Fan Zone, as well as at the Box Office located below the Tower. The fee is $15 in addition to your admission ticket.
Camping
How are the campsites assigned? Are they first come, first serve?
Yes, we will park you in the order of your arrival. If you want to park next to someone, please arrive together.
We are not camping. Do we need a parking pass for our vehicle?
No. Only campers need a parking pass. If you are not leaving a vehicle onsite overnight, you do not need a camping pass. If you are leaving a vehicle onsite overnight, you will be required to purchase a camping pass, regardless if you are spending the night in it or not.
I am not camping. Where do I park?
Saturday the DIS staff will park you in the Road Course Infield. Sunday - Tuesday they will direct you to the truck pad to the left of the Pro Garages.
Onsite Registration
I registered online. Do I need to report to Registration at the speedway?
Yes. Everyone must report to Registration and check-in all their classes, complete paperwork and register their transponder.
Where is Registration and how do I get there?
Registration will be held at the Boardwalk Club Building in the center of the infield adjacent to Lake Lynn.
When is Registration?
Monday 11 am - 6 pm ATV: Boardwalk Club Building
Tuesday 6:30 am - 8 am ATV: Boardwalk Club Building
What do I do at Registration?
All riders must check-in at Registration. Minor riders must be present and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You will check-in to the following stations:
Station 1: AMA
We will verify that your AMA membership is current. Every rider must be a current member of AMA. If you need to renew, we can help you do that.
Station 2: Transponders
This is where you can pick up a transponder you reserved online or rent one.
Station 3: Entry Forms
We will swipe your AMA card and print out your entry form(s) and minor release (if applicable).
Station 4: Registration
You will turn in your signed entry form, sign the releases and get your Rider Packet. We will also issue you a Practice Sticker.
Practice
What do I do with the Practice Sticker?
The sticker will have a number on it representing the practice group you were assigned. Put the Practice Sticker on the left chin of your helmet. If you‘re in more than one class and the classes practice together or close together, you may request an alternate practice group. We will place you with a group of comparable skill level and bike size.
What time is Practice?
Tuesday - 7:15 am
How many laps will we get for practice?
4 Laps.
Practice is weather permitting. There will only be one rotation through the practice schedule.
Racing
Is there a Riders' Meeting?
YES. There will be a Riders Meeting at Victory Lane Monday evening at 7 pm.
How many times will I get to race?
Classes with one division will race twice - one heat race for gate position and the main event. Classes with two divisons will race 2-3 times - a heat race, an LCQ if needed, and the main event.
What time does racing start?
Approximately 10 am on Tuesday, weather permitting.
My class has more than 14 riders. How do I find out what division I am in?
Class divisions will be selected by random computer draw and will be posted at the Inspection Garage Tuesday morning after Registration closes.
Do I have to qualify for the main event?
Yes, if there is an LCQ for that class. It will depend on the amount of riders in your class.
Results
Where do I go if I have questions?
MX Sports Guest Services will be headquartered in the Blue Garage. Our MX Concierge will be happy to answer your questions.
Where can I find MYLAPS?
The MYLAPS Timing & Scoring Center will also be located in the Blue Garage. That's where we will post the Race Order, Results, Gate Pics, etc. You can also get your Lap Times here.
How do I get lap times printed?
You can get copies of your lap times from the kiosk located in the Blue Garage. Simply enter your transponder number on the touch screen, and your reports will automatically print. Lap time reports are not official race results. Always check the posting board for official results.
Where do I pick up my rented transponder?
You can pick up your rented transponder at Registration.
Where do I return my rented transponder?
Return your transponder to the Blue Garage - the same garage where you get lap times printed.
Miscellaneous
Is there an FM radio Station?
Yep! Tune into 106.5 FM for race coverage and event information.
Can I use a Pit Vehicle?
Golf carts are allowed, but you must be at least 18 years old to drive it and you must purchase a Pit Vehicle Permit at Registration. ATV Pit Vehicles are not permitted, all ATV's being used as pit vehicles or for practice that are not designated track locations, will be confiscated by DIS Security. Also, there will be a strict 10 pm Pit Vehicle Curfew. Our riders need their rest.
Can I bring my Drone?
Drones are strictly prohibited at the Daytona International Speedway. Any drones that are used will be confiscated by DIS Security.
Can I wash my ATV at my pit area?
No. A bike wash area is available in the truck lot located next to the Infield Care Center. The area will be equipped with power washers for your convenience.
I love my dog. Can I bring her/him?
Yes, but only if you keep her at your campsite. Pets are not allowed into the UNOH Fan Zone or racetrack areas.
I got hurt. Where do I go?
We are very fortunate to have Florida Health Infield Care Center onsite in the infield close to Turns 3 and 4 of the car track. This Care Center is staffed with nurses and doctors during race operations. If you need medical attention, please report directly to the Care Center or go to any DIS employee and they will be able to radio for help. Of course, you can always call 911.
