The North and South Challenge are two programs created to accommodate those unable to contest the entire 2010 ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship.

The Challenge Supplemental Rules below are in addition to the rules already established for the 2010 AMA ATV Motocross Championship, unless otherwise indicated below.

A. CLASSES & ELIGIBILITY

1. All 35 amateur and youth classes of the AMA ATV Motocross Championship are eligible.

2. By entering a National event, riders will automatically have their points accumulate towards the program.

B. EVENTS

NORTH CHALLENGE

  1. May 15/16 - Sunset Ridge MX, Walnut, IL
  2. June 12/13 - Spring Creek Motocross Park, Millville, MN
  3. July 3/4 - Pleasure Valley, Armagh, PA
  4. July 17/18 - Unadilla, New Berlin, NY
  5. July 31/Aug 1 - RedBud, Buchanan, MI
  6. August 14/15 - Loretta Lynn Ranch, Hurricane Mills, TN

SOUTH CHALLENGE

  1. March 27/28 - Millcreek Raceway, Pell City, AL
  2. April 17/18 - Ballance Moto X, Bowling Green, KY
  3. May 1/2 - Birch Creek - Danville, VA
  4. May 29/30 - Steel City Raceway, Delmont, PA
  5. June 19/20 - Muddy Creek, Blountville, TN
  6. August 14/15 - Loretta Lynn Ranch, Hurricane Mills, TN

C. AWARDS, CLASS CHAMPIONSHIPS & POINTS

1. The Top 3 in each class for both the North and South Challenge will earn special awards presented at the final event of the season.

2. To be eligible for Overall awards at the end of the season, riders must attend all six rounds of either the North and/or South Challenge.

3. Points will be earned based on the National point scale. See Section J.2 of the AMA ATV Motocross Championship Supplemental Rules.

4. Ties for all class championship will be broken by the best finish at the final round.
