The last few weeks have been hectic ones for recently turned 25-year-old Cody Janssen. His riding schools, national events, local events, along with all the prep work that goes into it, has him admitting sometimes it’s hard just to find enough time to breathe. But the good news Janssen and his supporters is things are rounding into form as we find ourselves in June, the heart of the ATVMX season.

Janssen had his best national event of the season a few weeks back in Indiana, and he kept that ball rolling at the next ATV Motocross National with a very similar weekend at Muddy Creek in Blountville, Tennessee on the first weekend of June. He reaggravated a few old injuries early in the weekend but rebounded to finish 7^th in Pro Am and just outside the top 10 in the AMA ATV Pro class.

Up next on the calendar for the multi-time National Champion and World Champion was the inaugural Wisconsin ATV Championship Series event held at Sugar Maple Mx, and let us just say, if you weren’t in attendance for this event you missed out! The event organized by Heartland Building Co. was the place to be for ATV racers of the Midwest. The event was littered with national talent and even ATV motocross legend Digger Doug Gust came out to enjoy the racing and bang bars on one of the state’s greatest tracks. The class everyone came to see was the Pro Am class presented by Heartland Building Co. and paid out a big purse to the winner. Cody Janssen grabbed both holeshots and lead all the laps en route to a victorious day at Sugar Maple. Coming off a solid weekend at Muddy Creek in which he won prestigious A Class National motos, Tommy Vossman grabbed the runner up spot.

“It was a good weekend!” Cody said post-race with his 1^st place trophy in hand. “Track was great, people we’re great, this is just the start of a great thing here at Sugar Maple…It felt good to grab a couple holeshots and wins today. I feel really strong and very confident going into our “home” [national event] at Sunset Ridge next weekend in Illinois! I tell you guys every week, it’s about stacking success and we’re going to keep stacking! We need a podium next weekend at Walnut.”
