Over Easter weekend, the ATV MX Pro National Championship took to Monster Mountain MX in Tallasse, AL for Round 3 of the 2017 Championship Series. Wienen Motorsport's Chad Wienen once again reigned victorious at the end of the day finishing 2-1 on the day. 

There was great weather for racing and with the sun shining the gate dropped for moto 1. Wienen came out of the first turn in second. He maintained a consistent distance behind the rider in first waiting for an opportunity to pass but was unable to make any advances before the checkers flew to signal the end of moto 1. 

As the gate dropped for moto 2, Wienen once again came out of the first turn in second and quickly made a pass for the lead by the second corner. Wienen put his head down and went on to extend his lead on the field to have a comfortable lead and to take the second checkers of the day and the overall win.

"The Team has been working hard to continue to improve our setup and we nailed it this weekend. Coming out with great confidence on my Yamaha and continuing to improve every week. Thanks to my support group for all they do. " said Wienen.

The next round of racing will be hosted at High Point MX in Mt. Morris, PA on April 29.
