ProX ATV Motocross National Championship Announces 2016 Awards Banquet
AMA Pro ATV Champion Set to be Presented on October 8

With only one round remaining in the 2016 ProX ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) presented by CST Tires, an AMA National Championship, MX Sports is pleased to announce that the 2016 Annual Awards Celebration will be returning to the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio. This year’s banquet will take place Saturday, October 8 beginning at 5 p.m. at the largest indoor waterpark in the U.S. under one roof.

This year marks the 31st anniversary of this truly unique championship, which visits some of the most well-known motocross tracks in the country over the course of a 12-round pro schedule, ultimately crowning a 2016 National Champion.

ATVMX is the world’s longest-running and most prestigious ATV racing series, and is the world’s premier showcase of four-wheeled off-road racing talent. The top 10 class finishers in each championship class will be honored on Saturday evening, along with a variety of specialty awards. Additionally, the top five in each class will receive contingency prizes from series sponsors.

To purchase tickets visit www.atvmotocross.com. Tickets include dinner and admission, adults are $40, children ages 6-11 are offered at a discounted rate of $20, and anyone age five and under is free. 

Hotel room reservations are available at a group discount price of $129 for Friday, October 7, and $149 for Saturday, October 8, and include four waterpark passes for the duration of the stay. In addition to the awards ceremony, competitors and their family members are encouraged to take part in the riders meetings on Sunday, October 9. Participants will be able to voice their opinion on class structure, rules, and more for the upcoming season.
