This past weekend the AMA ATV MX Pro National Championship series held it's racing at Spring Creek MX in Millville, Minn. for another round of racing where the top racers once again split motos but it was Wienen Motorsports' Chad Wienen who came home with the 2-1 Finish for first overall.

In moto 1, Wienen had a good jump out of the gate but popped a wheelie early and came out of the first turn in the eighth place position. Making some quick passes as he came through the whoop section, Wienen found himself up to fourth by the end of the first lap. Wienen continued to progress and made a pass into third on lap two. With a four second gap between him and the rider in second, Wienen was bound and determined to find that second place position and at halfway through the race made the pass. With over an eight second gap between himself and the rider in first, Wienen continued to gap himself from the third place rider but was unable to make up any ground on the first place position and came across the checkers in second for moto 1.

Wienen took second in moto 1, and then a victory in moto 2 earning the overall win at Spring Creek.

It was a different story as the gate dropped for moto 2, as Wienen grabbed the second holeshot of the day and gained another point on the SSi Decals Holeshot Championship points race. Wienen put his head down and started off strong putting down the fastest laps of the day in the first few laps and began to create a comfortable lead for himself by the end of the third lap. Wienen continued on and not only took the moto 2 win but the overall win on the day as well.

After earning the overall win in Millville, Wienen still holds a 22 point lead in front of second place.

Once again there were no points lost nor gained between Wienen and the rider in second for the Championship points chase but Wienen maintains a 22 point lead heading to Unadilla in two weeks for the next round of racing.
