The 2016 AMA ATV MX Series seems to have a rain cloud following the series as there was yet again another rain and mud race this past weekend at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Penn.

Chad Wienen grabbed a monster hole shot in moto 1 and claimed the moto 1 SSi Decals holeshot award. Wienen went on to maintain the lead for the remainder of the race and grabbed the first checkers of the day.

In moto 2, Wienen came out of the first turn in second and continued to hold the second place position until the checkers came out in the last moto of the day.

"We had some crazy weather this past weekend and given the conditions I'm thrilled to be leaving High Point not only earning second overall but going 1-2 and still maintaining a 28 point gap in the series championship points chase. When mud racing is involved there are no guarantees anything can happen and I am happy to be heading to the next round at a new track the series has never been to!" said Wienen.
